Our Team
Kimi
Kimberly Klein has been dancing for 35 years and teaching for over 10. She has trained in a variety of styles, including tap, ballet, and jazz. She is CPR certified and committed to creating a safe, positive environment where dancers grow in confidence and creativity. While she enjoys all styles, tap holds a special place in her heart for its rhythm and musicality.
- Fun facts, hobbies, or interests: When not at the studio, she enjoys making jewelry, working on craft projects, spending time by the ocean, or making memories with family and friends.

Hip Hop Instructor
Savannah
Savannah Kovacs has been dancing for over 15 years and earned her BFA in Drama (Musical Theatre) from NYU Tisch School of the Arts – New Studio on Broadway. After graduating in 2021, she worked professionally in NYC, performing Off-Broadway and in various live concerts. She is also an independent recording artist and songwriter. Over the past several years, Savannah has taught ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, musical theatre, and private voice lessons. She is passionate about creating positive, structured classes that help young performers build strong technique, confidence, and creativity.
Dance InstructorBrim
Brim (Keith Junior) is an award-winning choreographer, creative director, and Hip-Hop specialist with over 25 years at the highest levels of the entertainment industry. He has choreographed for the Backstreet Boys on international tour, directed opening acts on Britney Spears' 1999 US Summer Tour, and produced a celebrated half-million-dollar gala for Prince Albert II of Monaco. His work has been seen on ABC, Hulu, Paramount+, Amazon Prime, Comedy Central, and ESPN, and he has appeared in major films including You Got Served. Most recently, he performed at the Hollywood Bowl with the LA Philharmonic and appeared in Dexter: New Blood. When Brim teaches, you're learning from someone who has lived the moves on stages across 65+ countries.

Tap InstructorCierra
Cierra Crowley is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher originally from Los Angeles. Her professional career began in 2015 after graduating from UC Irvine with a BFA in Dance Performance and a BFA in Dance Choreography. She has been featured in music videos for artists including Miguel, Lenny Kravitz, PANIC! at the Disco, and Banks, and appeared in commercials for MAC Cosmetics and Mattel. Her live performance credits include touring internationally with Banks and performing at the Hollywood Bowl for Elton John’s "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour. She has taught internationally in Ireland and Spain and was one of the first contemporary teachers for Steezy Studios. Her movement is rooted in expression with a focus on textures and musicality.

Dance training and experience: Bollywood dancing since age 12. Performed with dance companies, at events, and choreograph wedding skits and performances.

IVL Theatre Academy Musical Theatre DirectorAllyson Turner is a Dallas-born performer and educator with a career spanning Broadway (The Boys from Syracuse, The Look of Love), national tours (Sunset Boulevard, Guys and Dolls 50th Anniversary Tour, Radio City Christmas Spectacular), and over 30 regional productions, along with film and TV credits including The Stepford Wives and The CW. A graduate of Oklahoma City University (B.M., Musical Theater, Summa Cum Laude) and member of Actor's Equity and SAG-AFTRA, she also teaches musical theatre and vocal pedagogy through her private studio in Los Angeles, offering training in voice, piano, and audition prep. IVL Theatre Academy Acting DirectorSarah Boughton is a professional actor, director, and dedicated teaching artist who has been performing since childhood. Her artistic foundations were built at the Los Angeles County High School of the Arts (LACHSA) and solidified at Syracuse University, where she earned a BFA in Acting. Sarah’s extensive career includes performing on prominent New York City stages—such as The Culture Project, The Pearl Theatre, and Altered Stages—before establishing her presence in LA and Ventura Counties. In the classroom, Sarah brings a rich, multi-disciplinary approach to teaching kids and teens. Her teaching style is heavily inspired by the playful spontaneity of Viola Spolin's theater games, the practical truthfulness of Uta Hagen's work, and the dynamic physical ensemble-building of Anne Bogart's Viewpoints. Sarah is passionate about empowering the next generation of storytellers to take bold creative risks, build lasting confidence, and discover their authentic theatrical voices.
